If you are new to biking or haven't ridden for a long time, don't worry. We'll look after you with one of our relaxed one-to-one hour long Taster Sessions. These go very much at your own pace and give you a pressure-free opportunity to see how you get on riding a motorcycle.

If you decide to continue onto one of our full courses (either A2 or DAS) then we knock the £20 off of the full course price!

As an Approved Training Body (ATB) all our instructors are approved by The Driving Standards Agency and undergo regular evaluation to ensure that our standards remain at the highest level.

You'll find our offices modern, comfortable and welcoming, and our motorcycles safe and well maintained.

CBT Compulsory Basic Training

CBT is the starting point for everyone. It normally takes around a day to complete and enables you to ride low capacity motorbikes, (50cc mopeds for 16 year olds, 125cc for 17 years and over), with L plates for 2 years...for those going on to do a full course the CBT fee is included in the full course price ...

If you wish to continue from the CBT to your full licence then you'll need to complete the DSA Theory Test. We help you with this by providing a CD-Rom to practice with as part of the full course price, and we even book the test for you!

DAS Direct Access Scheme

The DAS course involves taking your test on a big bike (normally 500cc). Beginning on a 125cc bike and moving on to the larger machine when proficient. You must be at least 21 years old for this course...

Standard or Restricted (A2) Licence

The Standard 125cc (A2 or Restricted Licence) course is ideal for those aged 17 - 21 or anyone who is less concerned about outright top-speed and acceleration. The whole training course is conducted on a 125cc motorcycle. You must be at least 17 years old for this course...

A restricted bike looks and sounds the same as an unrestricted one, and, depending on the machine, the restriction may make little difference to its everyday performance...
